VFW – comrades who meet the qualifications of full membership
VFWA – ladies who have a familial relationship with a VFW eligible veteran
VFWMA- Men’s Auxiliary members
Volunteers – People who love our veterans and just want to help.
Ladies Auxiliary VFW Members are...
- Wives
- Widows
- Mothers
- Foster and stepmothers (who have performed the duties of parent)
- Grandmothers
- Daughters
- Granddaughters
- Foster and stepdaughters (who attained that status prior to the age of sixteen and for whom the duties of parent were performed)
- Sisters, half sisters, foster and stepsisters (who attained that status prior to age sixteen)
- ...of persons who were or are eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. Members must be citizens of the United States and at least 16 years old.
Women who are eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States shall be eligible for dual membership in the Ladies Auxiliary.

Welcome to Pup Tent 89!
The Military Order of the Cootie of the United States is an organization whose primary mission is to have fun! Our purposes are to promote membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S.; to promote and sustain the widows and children at the VFW National Home for Children located in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, and to provide aid and comfort to hospitalized U.S. Veterans throughout the world. Pup Tent 89 supports local veteran homes and patients from Salisbury VA Hospital with dinner and entertainment once per month.
